"Fragments and Traces: A re-imagined city of sound

This series of short videos responds to the visual and sonic textures of my neighbourhood in North-East London. The work explores the relationship between body and space through fragments of embodied experience. I combine details of my paintings, drawings, videos and field recordings into a multi-layered audio-visual environment.

I had a lot of fun making this work, and it marks a departure for me in terms of thinking about tapping into new ways of creating, and digging deeper into the processes and themes that underline my practice.

The videos can be watched in no particular order. Click the play icon on the videos above and click full screen icon in the bottom right corner.
